Built on the foundation of years of practicing and composing together in Strasbourg (France), the two brothers Raffaello (Drums) and Jacopo Dazzi (Guitar & Vocals) already had a lot of song ideas banked up when they moved to Freiburg. But it was only when they officially formed the band Hedvig in early 2019 that the project started to take the intended shape. With the addition of Max Bonengel on the Bass in early 2020 the band was finally complete and started recording their first album „Regain Control“.

Perfecting their sound in the 3 piece setup with smashing drums, roaring bass, shredding guitar and aggressive vocals, the band puts together a mix of old school and modern Thrash with influences ranging from Heavy, Death and Progressive Metal to Folk and Groove Metal. Hedvig have released their Debut Album „Regain Control“ on the 18th of March on all platforms and is already working on a ton of material to keep pumping out music in the future.
